Would it be at all possible to increase the character limit for reviews on the archives at some point? I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do so, but if it's possible, that would be really awesome.

I looked through the threads here and the FAQs and didn't see anything addressing this. My apologies if I missed it.

I like this idea! Though if its not possible to increase the character count for reviews I was thinking that even if you included a character counter so we know how many characters we have left that we can write and such would be really helpful.

Oooh, I like the idea of a character counter too! That would be awesome if increasing the character limit didn't work.

I'm working on it as I type this 
The current limit is set at 6000 characters which I think is more than enough for a review.
EDIT:
After 2 hours of tinkering with code and wondering why the thing wouldn't work, it looks like it's done. GW just tested it for me and everything seems fine. I'm off to grab a coke and a doughnut… well I gotta have some kind of a reward!

hey i just wanted to say my thanks as well! I've just noticed the character counter and I absolutely love it! It's so helpful so that I know how much I've written and if I need to start wrapping things up! Thank you for your time on this project!
