I'm trying to do a new blog post -- the forum has saved the draft, which is super, but I just can't seem to get it to publish. I've restarted my browser, restarted my computer, cleared my cache, everything I can think of. I'm wondering whether it is a browser issue (I use Safari 5.1.2 on a Mac).

I don't see any drafted blog entries in your blog. 
If you still have a copy, why don't you try copy/pasting that into a brand new entry and try publishing that one. If it doesn't work, shoot me a PM, and we'll see if we can figure out what's going on.
